Advanced Shintaido Karate Seminars

Master Ito, 5th Dan in Shintaido Karate, will demonstrate various effects of Shintaido techniques. Have you ever been in panic during kumite wondering what technique you should use next? In these two seminars, you will learn how to use an appropriate technique at a given moment to reach your goals in kumite. You will receive personal instruction by Master Ito, and will be able to expand your kumite repertoire by observing others.
All participants should be familiar with basic Shintaido curriculum, some throwing techniques, and comfortable with rolling.
Dates: Part 1: August 23rd (Saturday)
Part 2: September 6th (Saturday)
Time: 8AM-10AM
Fee: $30 ($25 for SOA Members) per each session

Autumn Shintaido Workshop with Master Michael Thompson

Master Michael Thompson will be visiting California and lead a weekend Shintaido Workshop. Michael Sensei will formulate the materials intuitively based on the participants' levels and needs. Students should have some Shintaido basics such as Tenshingoso and Eiko.

Fee: $55 ($45 for SOA members) for both days
